2. Use of Services

Eligibility

Users must be at least 18 years old
Users must have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
Services are provided for personal or professional interior design purposes

Account Responsibilities

Maintain confidentiality of any account information
Provide accurate and complete information
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
Be responsible for all activities under your account

3. Interior Design Services

Service Scope

Our interior design services include consultations, design development, and implementation support as detailed in individual service agreements. Specific deliverables, timelines, and costs are outlined in project proposals.

Client Obligations

Provide accurate information about project requirements
Grant necessary access to spaces requiring design work
Make timely decisions to avoid project delays
Pay agreed fees according to the payment schedule
Obtain necessary permissions for property modifications

Design Ownership

All design concepts, drawings, and specifications remain the intellectual property of east meenea until full payment is received. Upon full payment:

Clients receive a license to implement designs in their specified property
Designs cannot be used for commercial reproduction
east meenea retains the right to use project images for portfolio purposes

4. Prohibited Activities

Users may not:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Infringe on intellectual property rights
Transmit harmful code, viruses, or malware
Attempt unauthorized access to our systems
Engage in fraudulent activities
Harass, abuse, or harm other users or our staff
Use our services for illegal purposes
Copy or reproduce design concepts without authorization

5. Payment Terms

Service Fees

Service fees are specified in individual service descriptions and project proposals. All prices are in Singapore Dollars (SGD) unless otherwise stated.

Payment Schedule

Consultation services: Payment due before appointment
Design services: Deposit required to commence work, balance on agreed milestones
Complete projects: Phased payments as outlined in project agreement

Cancellation Policy

Consultations: 48 hours notice required for full refund
Design projects: Deposits are non-refundable once work commences
Clients may receive completed work to date upon cancellation, minus cancellation fee

6. Intellectual Property

Our Content

All content on our website, including designs, text, images, logos, and graphics, remains the property of east meenea. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

Design Concepts

Design concepts created for clients remain east meenea property until full payment. Clients receive implementation rights for their specified property only.

Portfolio Usage

We reserve the right to photograph completed projects and use images in our portfolio, website, and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7. Disclaimers and Limitations

Service Disclaimer

Interior design services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive for excellent results:

We do not guarantee specific outcomes or results
Design timelines are estimates and may vary
Material availability and pricing may change
Contractor performance is outside our control

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law:

Our liability is limited to fees paid for the specific service
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
We are not responsible for contractor workmanship or materials
Clients assume risk for implementation decisions

8. Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution

We encourage clients to contact us directly to resolve any concerns. Most issues can be addressed through open communication.

Mediation

If informal resolution fails, parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by Singapore law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Singapore courts.

9. Termination

By You

You may stop using our services at any time. Project-specific cancellation terms apply as outlined in service agreements.

By Us

We may terminate or suspend access to our services if you:

Violate these terms
Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
Fail to make agreed payments
Behave inappropriately toward our staff

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use our services ceases. Completed work and payments made are non-refundable. Obligations regarding confidentiality and intellectual property survive termination.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. Changes will be effective when posted on our website with an updated date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

11. General Provisions
